Don’t Follow the Wave (DFTW) recently hosted a Career and NIL (Name, Image, Likeness) Panel, providing a platform for industry professionals to engage with student-athletes from 9th grade and up. The panel focused on exploring career paths within the sports industry, discussing NIL opportunities, and highlighting the importance of financial literacy.

Following the panel discussion, attendees enjoyed a unique experience with the Morehouse College Golf Team, who conducted golf lessons for the student-athletes. This hands-on activity introduced participants to a sport outside the traditional realms of football and basketball, broadening their exposure and encouraging them to explore diverse athletic opportunities.

This event underscores DFTW’s commitment to empowering young athletes by equipping them with knowledge, skills, and experiences that support their growth both on and off the field.
